1. Almaty.
Arrival in Almaty. Airport transfer to the hotel. We will meet at noon for lunch at a restaurant serving traditional national cuisine. Afterward, we’ll embark on a city tour, starting with a visit to the Medeo mountain gorge, home to the highest sports complex in the world and a unique mud dam. Then, we’ll take a bus ride up to Kok-Tobe Mountain, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Zailiyskiy Alatau mountains along with the city of Almaty. After returning to the hotel for some rest, we’ll reconvene to go over the trip details and check the motorbikes. Before dinner, we’ll visit an important sightseeing spot in Almaty—the Park of 28 Panfilovs and the stunning Zenkov Cathedral. Evening dinner and overnight at the hotel.
2. Almaty - Taraz. 500 km
Early wake-up, followed by breakfast at the hotel. Then, off we go! Today, we’ll cover the longest distance of the tour on motorcycles—500 kilometers. Don’t be surprised, as we are riding through Kazakhstan, the largest country in Central Asia and the 9th largest in the world by territory, where such long distances are just a small part of its vastness. You’ll be riding on the newly constructed "Western China – Western Europe" highway, built along the route of the original Silk Road. Evening dinner and overnight at the hotel.
3. Taraz - Tashkent. Crossing KZ-UZ borders. 310 km
In the morning, we will continue our motorcycle ride through Central Asia. Today, we’ll leave Kazakhstan, cross the border, and enter Uzbekistan—a land of blooming fields, delicious fruits, and ancient Silk Road cities. We’ll stay in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. Overnight at the hotel.
4. Tashkent - Samarkand. 330 km
Today, we will arrive in Samarkand, one of the oldest cities in the world. Over two thousand years ago, Samarkand emerged in the steppes of Central Asia and became a key trading center on the Great Silk Road. We’ll spend the night in a cozy hotel surrounded by ancient architectural monuments. Overnight at the hotel.
5. Samarkand.
Today, our motorcycles rest as we immerse ourselves in the ancient city of Samarkand. This magical city has witnessed the era of Alexander the Great, the conquests of Genghis Khan, and the reign of Timur the Lame, making it a fascinating blend of cultures. In 2001, Samarkand was included in UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage List.
Our city tour will be split into two parts, and we won’t need our bikes for this exploration. Before lunch, you’ll visit the Gur-Amir Mausoleum, Registan Square, and the Bib-Khanum Mosque. For lunch, you’ll enjoy real Uzbek pilaf—the crown jewel of Uzbekistan’s cuisine. During the hottest part of the day, we’ll rest at the hotel, and afterward, you can continue the excursions with a visit to the Samarkand bazaar. Overnight at the hotel.
6. Samarkand – Pendjikent. Crossing UZ-TJ borders. 65 km.
In the morning, we will continue our motorbike tour. Today, we’ll leave behind Uzbekistan with its priceless heritage and head toward Tajikistan—a country of rivers and towering mountains. Though it has the weakest economy in Central Asia, it is home to some of the most friendly and hospitable people. Overnight at a guesthouse.
7. Pendjikent - Dushanbe 300 km
In the morning, we’ll hit the road leading to Dushanbe, passing through the 5-kilometer Anzob Tunnel, which was built inside the Gissar Range in 1980. These 5 kilometers of darkness and cold will definitely test your nerves! By noon, we’ll arrive at Iskandar Kol. A small part of the route will take us along mountain trails, offering glimpses of small Tajik villages (known as kishlaks in the local language), far removed from mainstream civilization. We’ll stop at the alpine lake for lunch, enjoying the stunning mountain views.
By evening, we will reach Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan. Overnight at a hotel.
8. Dushanbe - Kalaikhumb 360 km
We continue our motorcycle adventure as we head toward the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province (GBAO). Today, we’ll get very close to Afghanistan, riding along its border, where the Panj River separates us from Afghan villages. Here, Afghan people still live as they did hundreds of years ago. Along the way, we’ll stop to perform a traditional washing ritual under the Ali Mountain waterfall, which cascades 40 meters down the rocks. By the end of the day, we will arrive at the kishlak of Kalaikhum, where cozy guesthouse rooms will be waiting for us.

9. Kalaikhumb – Khorugh. 240 km
Today, we will ride along the legendary Pamir Highway (M41) on our motorcycles. Built in the 1930s during Soviet times to develop the Pamir region, it is one of the most unique mountain roads in the world, cutting through rugged and challenging terrain. Along the way, we’ll pass through many Tajik kishlaks, where the local people, especially children, will warmly welcome you with handshakes and offer you a variety of fruits.

10. Khorugh
A day off for rest. During the day, you can visit the local bazaar, shop for jewelry at the Khorog factory featuring local precious stones, and explore the Botanical Garden. The day will conclude with dinner.

11. Khorugh – Bibi Fatima hot springs(Yamchun). 180 km.
We continue following the Afghan border on our motorbikes, with the Pamir road tracing the steep banks of the Panj River, which separates us from Afghanistan. We’ll climb to the Yamchun Fort, reaching an altitude of 3,200 meters. This day and location are essential for acclimatization before we tackle the higher Pamir mountains, which exceed 4,000 meters. Here, we’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Afghan side of the Wakhan Valley and take a bath in the sacred waters of the Bibi Fatima hot spring.

12. Bibi Fatima hot springs(Yamchun) – Murghab. 260 km
We climb the high Pamir plateau to reach the kishlak of Murghab, the heart of the high-mountain Pamir region, where we’ll ride at altitudes above 4,000 meters. We’ll cross the Hargush Pass (4,344 m) and Nazaitash Pass (4,137 m), as well as traverse the vast Alichur Valley, where we may encounter playful yaks. By the end of the day, we will arrive in Murghab, the highest kishlak in the Pamirs.

13. Murghab – Osh city 420 km.
We will continue our motorbike tour along the Pamir Highway! Get ready to cross the highest mountain passes in the former USSR and Central Asia—Ak Baital Pass at 4,655 meters and Kyzyl-Art Pass at 4,280 meters. Weather permitting, we’ll also try to catch a glimpse of the famous Lenin Peak, which stands at 7,134 meters.
We’ll then say goodbye to the Pamirs and Tajikistan as we descend into the warm and vibrant country of Kyrgyzstan. Our journey will take us to Osh, a city located in the heart of the Fergana Valley. Ancient Osh was once a key stop on the Silk Road and is now the second-largest city in Kyrgyzstan after the capital, Bishkek.

14. Osh – Toktogul Lake. 326 km
After the tough terrain of the Pamirs, Kyrgyzstan will feel like paradise. You’ll ride through beautiful green mountains and stunning mountain passes with well-maintained roads. As we pass through the Fergana Valley, which supplies fruit to all of Central Asia, we’ll have the chance to taste some along the way. Our resort is located on the shores of Toktogul Lake, where we can take a refreshing swim. For dinner, we’ll enjoy fresh trout from the lake.

15. Toktogul Lake – Bishkek. 340 km.
Our motorcycle tour takes us through the colorful mountains of the Tien Shan, crossing the Kyrgyz Ridge via the Alabel Pass (3,184 m) and the Too-Ashuu Tunnel (3,685 m). We’ll traverse the Suusamyr Mountain Plateau, where nomadic yurts and animals dot the hills and valleys. Along the way, we’ll stop for a tea break in a yurt and enjoy a short rest. By the end of the day, we will arrive in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.

16. Bishkek.
Today is a day off for rest after a long week of riding, in the lovely city of Bishkek. We’ll visit the National Museum of Kyrgyzstan and take a walk around the city square. Alternatively, you can choose to stay at the hotel and relax in your room.

17. Bishkek - Issyk Kol Lake. 380 km.
Today, we will continue our adventure. After passing through the Boom Gorge, we will arrive at the coast of Issyk-Kul, known as the "Pearl of Central Asia." This unique mountain lake sits at an altitude of 1,609 meters above sea level and is ranked among the 25 largest lakes in the world, as well as the 7th deepest, with a depth of 702 meters. Over 100 rivers flow into the lake, but none flow out of it. We’ll spend the entire day at a yurt camp, enjoying the beautiful waters, sunbathing, and simply relaxing.
18. Issyk Kol Lake - Hot Spring 337 km
We will leave beautiful Kyrgyzstan and cross the border, returning to wonderful Kazakhstan. Today, you’ll find yourself in the vast Kazakh steppe as we make our way to the Hot Springs.

19. Hot Spring– Almaty. 290 km.
Our incredible motorcycle journey is coming to an end. Filled with unforgettable memories, we will return to the most beautiful city in Central Asia—Almaty. We’ll celebrate our successful tour at a restaurant, where you’ll receive certificates and gifts as keepsakes of the adventure.
20. Almaty
On this day, you can rest in your hotel room or take a leisurely walk around the city to buy some presents for your friends and family. After lunchtime, you can visit the Arasan Bathhouse with hot sauna, a relaxing massage, and a cold beer. It is the largest in Central Asia. *All expenses of this day, except accommodation, are not included in the tour price.
21. Departure Almaty.
